Volunteers
The 2011 Crossroads Conference will be even better, in great part because of our fantastic student volunteer staff. We encourage students who would like to help at the conference to volunteer.
Student volunteers serve a very important role during the conference. Volunteers assist in meeting the needs of conference attendees, exhibitors, and speakers, to ensure a very successful conference. Volunteers have the opportunity to network with other HR professionals, support their HR colleagues, gain experience in conference planning, while attending the conference for free.
Student volunteers are needed for the following positions:
- Guest Services
- Registration
- Vendor/Exhibitor Escorts
- Speaker Escorts
- Breakout Room Managers
- Runners
Discounts for student volunteers:
- Student attendees who complete a volunteer shift of one-half day may attend the remainder of the day free.
- Student attendees who complete a volunteer shift of one full day may attend the alternate conference day free.
Student attendees must be enrolled for 9 or more credit hours per semester in an undergraduate or graduate level accredited, human resource program within the state of Utah.
If you are interested in volunteering for the 2011 Crossroads Conference please visit the Registration page and select “Student Volunteer Registration”. As a volunteer, you will be asked to attend a volunteer orientation either in person or via conference call. Additional information will be sent to all volunteers prior to the training.
If you have additional questions regarding volunteering at the 2011 Crossroads Conference that are not already addressed on this website send an email to Matt Waters, at m.c.waters@aggiemail.usu.edu.
