Matt Vance is the Employee Experience Manager at Malouf. In this role, he oversees the collection and use of all employee feedback for Malouf’s network of four locations and 450+ employees. Using this employee feedback, he leads the deployment of employee-happiness programs and evaluates initiative impacts.
Prior to transitioning full-time to this role in February, Matt was Malouf’s Reputation Strategy Manager. Over four years, Matt built a team responsible for quantitative and qualitative analytics of Malouf’s online reviews. Malouf grew online distribution from two to 50 plus websites and now includes more than 1,500 product listings. Daily review volumes went from 25 to 380 plus, and the catalog average rating, which now has surpassed a three hundred thousand reviews, increased 15 points from 4.15-stars to 4.3-stars.
Matt’s feedback management methodologies have been recognized nationally with a 2019 Gold Stevie Award for Best Customer Feedback Strategy above runners-up including: Bank of America, Delta Airlines, DHL, IBM, Intuit, and VIZIO Inc. Outside of Malouf, he has done reputation strategy consulting in industries from eCommerce to city government, among others. He is authoring a self-help review management book soon to be published.
Aa native of Spanish Fork, UT and a track-athlete Utah State Alumni, Matt now claims Logan as home. He enjoys running, cycling, disc golf, and playing with his three daughters.
